So now that you’ve seen all the other rooms in my cozy farmhouse cottage, let’s see the farmhouse living room. This is the most
used enjoyed room in our entire house!
Take a look at the room before I moved in…
See the rest of the home’s before photos here. My, how far we’ve come!
And now, for the grand reveal – here is my farmhouse living room:
This sectional is on loan from my darling parents. They are letting me borrow it until I can find one I like – I have a very specific look in mind!
Can ya’ll believe I painted that flower?! I have no art skills but did one of those wine and painting group classes. The flower was supposed to be bright blue with bright yellows and oranges but ya’ll know I love my neutrals. So, blue flower became gray flower, naturally.
The furniture piece was a damaged find from Marshall’s. The glass in one of the doors was cracked, so price was dramatically reduced. I had a new piece of glass cut to fit, for an easy fix and great deal!
This desk was an amazing find – already antiqued, perfectly sized AND came with the chair!
My house doesn’t have a coat closet, so enter trusty TV armoire in the right hand corner of above photo. My handy uncle added a rod to it for hanging coats and the drawers below are perfect for sunglasses, gloves and other random things.
BbThe yardstick star is a nod to my Pa Jamie because he always had one of these folding retractable yard stick nearby. He’s also the inspiration behind my blog’s name, which you can ready about here!
Oh, and I love trays! Have you noticed yet?! Mainly because they’re such an easy way to organize and store ALL the things.
Where do you spend most of your time in your home?
Stay tuned –
